WHO WE ARE
Lesley Dixon, President
With nearly three decades of professional work experience primarily in the telecommunications field, Lesley Dixon is
committed to making an impact within his local community.  His past projects in his hometown of Jackson, MS, include
volunteering with the Westside Community Center and Civic Club and serving as a board member with Brother-4-
Brother, an organization focused on men’s health.  Lesley, along with siblings Machelle and Dexter Dixon, sponsors a
scholarship for a deserving youth in the impoverished community where they grew up.  

Since moving to the Atlanta Metro area, Lesley has focused his volunteering and mentoring efforts towards HIV/AIDS
awareness and prevention.  He is currently serving on the board of The L.O.V.E. Coalition and is a charter member of
the (Toastmasters International) Beyond Talkers Club. His past volunteer experience in the metro area include: ANIZ
Inc. , HRC- Human Rights Campaign, Our Common Welfare, Love Changes, Atlanta Women’s Day Shelter, Together In
Love.
Kristal Davis, Career Consultant
Kristal Davis, a native South Georgian, earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English and
English education. After graduating from college with her bachelor’s degree, Kristal began working in
the field of education as an eighth grade, language arts teacher, where she served for four years.
She began working in the adult education setting upon leaving the middle school environment and
has been employed as a technical college instructor, contract tutor, and online university professor.
Kristal is a spoken-word poet, avid reader, budding writer, editor, youth drama coach, job readiness
coach, and public speaker.
Marsha Vaughn, Case Manager
Marsha is devoted to the empowerment of families and children.  Through various work experiences, she has acquired
expertise in case management, crisis resolution, and interventions.  She has provided consultation and training in the
areas of social work, early childhood, and elementary education.  As a social worker, she has counseled individuals,
groups, families, or communities regarding issues including mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse,
physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, child care, and/or medical care.
Michelle Henderson, Education Director
Michele Henderson has worked for the Georgia Center for Youth and Families, Department of Community Health
Information & Technology, Department of Human Resources, the National Park Service, and in career services at Mercer
University.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Oglethorpe University and her Masters of
Education from Ashford University.
Stephon Collins, CEO\Executive Director
Stephon Collins is driven to make this world a better place to live. He has a worked tirelessly in
public health for over ten years. He began his career in public health in Jacksonville, FL, where he
was employed at JASMYN (Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network) as an outreach
supervisor in 2002. He later pursued other career advancement by accepting a position with the
Fulton County Health Department, where he served as an HIV outreach supervisor for three years.  
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Morris Brown College, and his Masters of Education
from Cambridge College.
